We had the good fortune of connecting with Juliet Guisasola Drummond and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Juliet, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The inspiration for starting my own business came from my extensive journey in the health and wellness industry. Since 2008, I dedicated myself to teaching yoga, pilates, and fitness, believing it would be my lifelong path. However, the pandemic forced a dramatic shift to online platforms, and I had to adapt quickly. At the same time, becoming a mother transformed my perspective on life and work.

As a mindfulness instructor, I learned the importance of intention and presence, which deeply influenced how I approached my work. While I stayed connected with clients online, I dove into social media, marketing, and branding. My experience at a social media agency exposed me to businesses’ challenges in navigating marketing effectively. As I branched out on my own with smaller businesses, I noticed how many owners felt overwhelmed by social media. They often had great ideas but struggled with execution, especially in design. This realization, combined with my rebranding journey, led to the birth of Reset with Juliet.

I discovered I could provide the guidance and support these businesses needed to thrive in the digital landscape. My mission became a bridge for others facing rebranding challenges, empowering them to confidently connect with their audience and share their unique stories.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a social media and brand specialist, my journey has been fueled by a genuine passion for helping others bring their visions to life through thoughtful and impactful design. What sets me apart is my belief in a personalized approach, there’s no cookie-cutter strategy here. Every brand I work with is unique, and I’m dedicated to crafting tailored plans that align perfectly with your specific goals.

My professional path has been quite the adventure. I started my career in the health and wellness industry as a yoga and pilates instructor, where I learned the importance of mindfulness, connection, and intention. Transitioning to social media marketing was a challenge, but it allowed me to blend my love for wellness with my passion for branding. Along the way, I faced numerous obstacles, from adapting to rapid changes during the pandemic to navigating the complexities of social media marketing. These experiences taught me resilience and creativity, helping me view setbacks as opportunities for growth and shaping my approach to every project.

What I cherish most are the relationships I’ve built. I genuinely enjoy collaborating closely with clients to understand their visions, ensuring we create something that truly stands out. Every brand has a story to tell, and I see my role as helping to articulate that narrative in a way that resonates deeply with its audience.

Through Reset with Juliet, I provide a fresh perspective and a holistic branding approach. I want every client to see their brand from a new angle, igniting the creativity needed to re-energize their business.

I’m excited to continue this journey of exploration and connection, celebrating the unique stories we all have to share.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I’m being honest, our reunion would probably kick off at my place, catching up over coffee while the kids run wild, because what’s a get-together without a little chaos, right? But let’s dream up an ideal itinerary filled with good times and laughter.

We’d start at Aroma Cafe in Studio City, savoring delicious food and coffee. Afterward, we could take the little ones to Kidspace Museum in Pasadena, where they can explore while we chat and reminisce.

On another day, we can’t miss The Griddle Cafe. I haven’t been in years but still dream about their pancakes and secret French toast.

We’d also spend an afternoon at the Travel Town Train Museum in Griffith Park, a place that holds special memories for me since I celebrated my son’s 2nd birthday there last year. After that, we’d grab a laid-back lunch at In-N-Out—I’ll take mine protein style, animal style.

To wrap up our time together, we’d enjoy some sushi at Katsuya and catch a show at either the Hollywood Bowl or the Greek Theatre. Both venues have a fantastic vibe, and I recently saw Sturgill Simpson at the Greek, it was an unforgettable night.

Ultimately, it’s the little moments that remind me why I love LA: the vibrant energy, the stunning sunsets, and the way this city brings people together.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
As I reflect on this journey, I’m reminded of the countless moments of support and encouragement from all of you. Each client, mentor, colleague, and friend has played a vital role in shaping my path, and for that, I’m deeply thankful. Your insights and belief in my vision have been invaluable.

A special shoutout to my husband, whose unwavering faith lifts me up daily, and to my son, who teaches me the importance of balancing passion with family.

I truly believe that understanding the “why” behind what we do is essential. It’s about uncovering the essence of what makes each business unique, allowing us to craft narratives that resonate. This understanding has been shaped by all of you, reminding me of the power of connection and authenticity.

Through my work, I strive to help brands build their own communities, fostering relationships that enable everyone to grow together. I’m excited to continue this journey with all of you, celebrating our shared successes along the way.

Thank you for being part of this incredible experience, I appreciate each and every one of you!
