We had the good fortune of connecting with Jumond Norman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jumond, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
To gain put myself in a better position economically and also give back to my community and also have the freedom to travel and learn other cultures

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
So me myself I grew up in a great arts district venice beach California/art is my life I started out painting and drawing on my mothers walls in the house I paid dearly for that but from there I became a graffiti artist and painter but that was fun but I couldn’t make a living off of it / once again my brother anthony taught me how to cut hair as he was doing so I look at everyone on the planet as one big family so I thought hey I can open barber shops teach and employ young artists such as myself as well learn other techniques from them also and help build a global brotherhood and community

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Venice beach /self realization center in palisades these are two places you can see and meet people from all walks of life these are also two places people tend to be more open minded and not judge mental at all me being a black male I know that area all too well

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
