We had the good fortune of connecting with K-De Demesa Prado and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi K-De, what role has risk played in your life or career?
When I think about risk, or taking a risk, I think about what it takes to get you where you want to be and the unlimited amount of success you can achieve if you believe in what you do and why.

Risk taking has played one of the major roles in my life as a woman with a handicapping/betting lifestyle, I learned at an early age that it’s not just men that can do this but women can make a difference that can quite be surprising, we manage risk everyday as a girl or woman and we outweigh the decision by making the sharp one, and so betting the correct way or should I say the smarter sharper way is probably the way that will have more of the winning outcome.

This you can apply to not only gambling and make you money but also to life in making sure you are successful in your career and your lifestyle. It’s knowing that anything is achievable and that you can have the finer things in life and love if you take the risk and push the limits. I love working hard and playing harder. It explains the lifestyle I live and show my family and friends that you don’t always have to be rich to get what you want, that you already have it, it is just a perception the world shows, but if you take a step and that “RISK” you’ll feel the success.

As a mother, dedicating your life to another living thing is probably the biggest risk you can take because there is no telling the future and you have no choice but to ensure that you must not fail because you not only fail yourself, but you also fail the life you are giving birth to, this is the drive that seeks success in you.

To do this twice is taking the risk and doubling down. As a wife, I met my husband and partner in life in the city of risk taking so it was only the storybook way to gamble my heart and see if I had to sweat it out or the winning ticket was going to get cashed, its cashing so far, we met at a sportsbook and we never turned back.

Finally, career-wise I don’t only work for two world renown companies that have changed and impacted the world but every day I take the risk to ensure lives and results are safely provided to those in need especially during the pandemic. Overall, I think risk has taught me more than it has affected me, I continue to learn from it every day and utilize it to visualize my next move.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Sunday- Sunday Football Day Brunch at Crumbs in Danville, CA with mimosas and or beer and great breakfast food
Then back to the local Market Tavern for some appetizers and watch more football to see the Sunday bets come to life

Monday- Taking it easy and hungover but nothing cures that like another outing in Santa Clara at Puesto for some tacos and beer or a margarita to watch some more Monday night football, might even be able to catch the 49ers for a game a Levi’s Stadium (NFL Season only)

Tuesday- Walnut Creek outdoor mall for some shopping and great food at Flemings

Wednesday- Oracle Park to see the SF Giants play vs some great teams like the LAD rivalry and also for their great concessions like the famous crab sandwich and 805 beer ( only during mlb season)

Thursday- Crustacean Restuarant world famous for their crab and garlic noodles, old school place with an old school palette and rules, but a must have and must try.

Friday- Golden Gate Bridge and Sausalito Area, inspiring and mind clearing.

Saturday- SF the city, day and night, from food to shopping to fisherman’s wharf, the experience is worth going.

Sunday- SFO airport to say goodbye, thats an experience in itself.

You will never take the LA pride away from me because I live and breathe Los Angeles, til the day I die, like Tupac . The Bay has a piece of my heart though because it truly is pure and resilient.
