Meet Kaylyn Noonan | Owner of KayKreative LLC

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kaylyn Noonan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kaylyn, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have always loved many different sides of being a creative – photography, brand design, social media, video, etc. I have always worked for companies that required my full-time attention, so it has always been in the back of my mind that if I were to start a company, I can wear many hats and help brands in many different avenues. I loved working at different companies to learn new ways of doing things, but felt that it was my turn to take the leap into my own creative consulting business. I love that it allows me to help clients in many different ways, instead of only one specific thing. My goal is to help companies elevate their brand creatively – whether it be their content, branding, social media guidance… anything! I want to always cater to solving creative problems and ultimately leaving each brand with more confidence.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I specialize in photography, graphic design, brand direction and content creation. I love helping companies creatively, however they may need help. I think what sets me apart is that I love being completely involved with each client while learning about everything they do so I can fully understand what they need or what is missing for them. I believe I got where I am today from a lot of hard work, especially working for a startup. Even though working for a startup was a huge time commitment mentally and physically, I loved it because it taught me so many things since everyone was wearing multiple hats and everyone was learning new things along the way. I had a lot more creative freedom than a regular corporate job, which allowed myself to learn a ton and grow. I think life and building a business is all about the experiences you have!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am such a foodie, so I would immediately make some reservations! I’m located in Orange County, so I think in the morning we would do a hike to start the day with some beautiful views, maybe Laguna! After that, we would go get some food at a super cute brunch spot, and walk around Lido for some shopping. If it’s nice out, you can never go wrong with the beach! Then eventually go somewhere for dinner, then a fun placefor some drinks. 🙂

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many people that I want to shout out for helping and guiding me to be the person I am today, but one that sticks out is my dad. My dad has worked so hard his whole life, eventually becoming a business owner himself. I have always admired his hard work and dedication. I have grown up watching him constantly strive to be better and work hard to own his own company – all while doing so with such a humble approach. It has always been extremely inspiring and I knew I wanted to own my own business too someday.
