We had the good fortune of connecting with Kelly Mobeck and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kelly, what are you inspired by?
I am inspired by women letting go of things they believe limit them and fully owning who they are so that they lead and live a life of meaning, fulfillment and joy.

So many times women’s roles can feel like they are dictated to them. So many times there are roles that we, as women assume because it’s the way it has always been, have nurturing tendencies, presume to want to “keep the peace.” We can wear hats that we think we should wear or that others think we should wear even if the style is not our fit. We can also embrace the roles we choose to be in and go after the “more” that often tugs at our hearts.

We are all individuals and have our individual strengths. Women are catalysts for change. I am inspired when women realize that they can select whichever roles they want to hold without sacrificing who they are and embracing who they BE.

I am also inspired by people, nature, animals, music and live performances. There is so much in the world to be inspired by!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Where I am is not where I began. I began working in a completely different industry and took a leap of faith 21 years ago diving into the coaching and training world. I spent time learning and honing my skills, training others as well as coaching leaders and fellow coaches. After achieving so much, I knew it was time for me to begin my own business. And, so it was.

I am most excited about getting to help women who are ready to create the change and growth they want in their lives, businesses, careers and relationships. These women may not yet understand that they are leaders (and some do) in their lives and are ready to be bold and take action by creating new habits, beliefs and behaviors leading them to their biggest & most meaningful outcomes. I want women to seize every single moment & know they deserve the abundant life they desire.

Nothing comes easy and, if you put in the work, you will get what you want. I’ve learned to study myself, learned what works for me and what doesn’t work for me and learned that by applying my learning, I am able to create something bigger than myself. That something is IMPACT.

I want people to know that they can work and live from a place of meaning and fulfillment, whatever that means to them. We get to do that. Life doesn’t have to be either or; life is all about AND. We get to choose. It’s never too late to start!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Such a great question! I would first look to see who is performing at either The Hollywood Bowl or Greek Theater for an amazing evening of live music and picnicking. Enjoying dinner at The Backyard at Hollywood Bowl is a must.

Also, any live performance at the many fantastic theaters we have like The Pantages, and Ahmanson is always so much fun.

We would take in Malibu & Santa Monica for a fun beach and shopping day or the strand at Hermosa Beach with a stop at any of their great cafes.

Favorite places to eat: Eataly in Los Angeles, Joe’s Cafe in Granada Hills, The Front Yard in Los Angeles (studio city), all such great vibes and delicious food. Live music, theater, and great atmospheres with a good meal with good friends always make the top of hangout lists.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, I’d like to shout from the mountaintops my family. They have been with me every step of the way. Their love and encouragement means the world to me. They believe in me beyond reason. I also want to shout out both my fellow coaching colleagues and also my beautiful friends. We are in this together. They support me when I have challenges and celebrate with me when I have wins.

What do families, communities and businesses all have in common? They all take villages to grow them, maintain them, help them and raise them. I’d like to shout out my village that helps my business rise and grow. Gia Hellwig – Chief Brilliance Officer, Amanda Holliday – Marketing, Morgan Potter – Brand Photos, Elisa Ellis – Stylist, Cami McLaren – Accountability Partner & Fellow Coach and The Podcasting Boutique – my podcast, “Let’s Be Honest before We Start Pretending,” production team.

And I want to give a special shout out to my business besties – Paige Killian of Everything with Style and Elizabeth Koraca – Career Strategist & Keynote Speaker.

Finally, a huge shout out to Leah Holmes and Kelly Sandstrom, my WE3BE’s who hold all the space for all the things every step of the way with lots of love, encouragement and support.

Thank you to each and every one of you!
