We had the good fortune of connecting with Kenwuan Meeks and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kenwuan, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When I first started the Ken Meeks Show, I wanted to inspire the youth were I am from. The idea of sitting down and talking to your favorite celebrities is unheard of in the small town were I’m from.

What should our readers know about your business?
The Ken Meeks Show is one of the first shows that had in person interviews after Covid. It has viewership of two million plus. The show taps into the life of celebrities as they spill the tea of how they managed to be apart of the one percent and have the success that they always dreamed about. Learn how to cope through relationships, how yo deal with mental health and simple sit back and enjoy the game of Good Move, Bad Move.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend visited I would bring him or her to the studio to see how my show operates. I would also take them Prime Cigar, it’s an slogans upscale cigar bar. We would also go to the Beltline to work out. We would eat at Hals, the best steak house in Atlanta.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My belief system is very strong and is often tested, but God is the head decision maker in my life. Shout out to my mom and my sister who supported me through my ups and downs. Special thanks goes out Kendall Ward. He believed in me and my show and help me by bringing Michael Blackson on the show making him my first celebrity interview. Shout out to comedian, actress and friend Cocoa Brown. She has been a huge impact in helping advance my career. A huge shoutout to Ukema Moore, she was a huge motivator. She kept pushing me and telling me that she has always seen greatness in me.
