We had the good fortune of connecting with Kiersten Sierra Leone Washington and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kiersten Sierra Leone, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is hard work.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Hard work and determination sets me apart from others. With the help of my parents making the right decisions for me is partly why I am where I am today. It was not easy. I overcame challenges by praying and pushing through. I learned never to give up. I want the world to know that with hard work and determination anything is possible.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The Los Angeles Central Library, the views are absolutely amazing. A week long itinerary would consist of eating at Catch LA, DAN TANA’S, Craig’s and Fig & Olive. I would visit Malibu Country Mart and The Grove. and hang out at Grand Park.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents Keith & Africa Washington. Along with my agent Patti Fleischer.
