We had the good fortune of connecting with Kiki Bello and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kiki, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
It came in my blood. It was inherited. Playing the harp is something that has come from many generations. Writing songs, came from my dad’s grandfather. He was a composer and musician. I was born a songwriter.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I always look for uniqueness in everything I do. I think playing the electric harp and incorporating it to Latin Pop Songs, makes me different. I am proud the most about my consistency and discipline all these 20+ years of music career. I got to where I am, by try and error and by taking a massive amount of action ignoring my fears. It has never been easy, it will never be. I always overcome challenges by looking back and remembering how much I’ve done already. My biggest lessson is to understand that the best things in life take time.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would invite them to fishing and cook for them, as I love cooking. I like outdoor activities. I would take them to a public park for a walk. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I dedicate my shoutout to my parents who made me a musician and to Enrique Iglesias who inspired me to write my first song.
