Meet King Aiden

We had the good fortune of connecting with King Aiden and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi King, what makes you happy? Why?
I would say music, my wife, and family make me happy. I keep a close and small circle. All 3 things lift me up when I am down, no matter what.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is that I am not only am I a one band show music wise, I am a SAG-AFTRA Eligible actor that is black and transgender, making new waves in the entertainment business! I’ve been on the show “Nashville” on Freeform and Hulu. I’ve been in TobyMac’s music video “Feel It” that accumulated over 2 million views. I took a long break off to transition from female to male off camera. I wanted that time to be to myself as I knew I could always continue my career. I am just now signing back with the acting and modeling agency, Advantage Talent Agency, in Nashville, TN. I am currently independent in my music career, but a signed actor and model. As you see, I have probably came across some challenges, but I still remain successful because I KEEP GOING. I never give up! I’ve learned that if you never give up and keep staying consistent, you can reach your goals!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If you were visiting my small town in from Bowling Green, KY, I would first tell and show you that we have a Corvette plant and museum. It is the only place in the world Corvettes are made. You can even pay to drive around on their race track, or even drive a Corvette there. Definitely a cool place if you love cars! I would take you to get coffee at a local coffee shop called Spencer’s Coffee, then the Great American Donut Shop. The locals call it “G.A.D.S.” It is a local family owned donut shop that is amazing. I’ve never found donuts better than theirs! We could hang out at Lost River Cave and go on their nature walking trails and view the cave, blue holes, streams of water, see a butterfly habitat, and even zip line there. As you can see, there’s plenty to do where I’m from that is unique. If you’re ever in Kentucky, stop by Bowling Green. It is 55 minutes away from Nashville, Tennessee. We are considered a southern city with great hospitality.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout my team that works for me on a daily basis. Mainly Josh and what he is doing with Nowey out in England as a producer and with artists. I’ve grown so much as a person and artist with Josh and my success and sound is based off of what we create together! I’d also like to thank my family for being such great supporters throughout this long journey!
