We had the good fortune of connecting with Kit Rich and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kit, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is that I care the most about IMPACT and not about achieving high numbers. My model is based on impacting one person in a meaningful way. That impact is what matters most.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
KICHGO is an online fitness brand. The concept is simple. It is a big gym in a little bag. Tried and true equipment that fits into a bag that you can throw into luggage, backpack, or purse. The workout videos are made for the contents in the bag. It was created because of my experience traveling with clients. I needed something that was lightweight but that would provide me with everything I needed. I needed a gym I could take with me.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
MY LOVE FOR OCEAN PARK BLVD IN SANTA MONICA Pandemic friendly places: Wake up and walk to Estate Coffee on Ocean Park Blvd in Santa Monica. Take your coffee across the street to Clover Park and sit under a tree with a good book. In the afternoon, bike, skateboard, or scooter over to Zabies Restaurant on Ocean Park Blvd. Their chopped Salmon salad is delicious. In the evening, walk over to Local Kitchen and Wine Bar and sit outside while having their signature New Fashioned drink or Locals Only Margarita. Their Margherita pizza is heaven with a side of baby artichoke hearts. If you want to do take-out, go sit on the sand and watch the sunset near the Santa Monica Pier. With the weather right, you can boogie board until the sun goes down. There’s nothing better.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would not be where I am today without my KICHGO community. To all the wonderful people that I train and train with me–you’re my WHY.
