Hi Kizuwanda, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The number one factor behind my success and the success of my brand is finding and meeting the needs of others. I truly cater to the specific needs of my clientele. An important aspect of this is education about the home buying or selling process and connecting clients to the right resources (mortgage lenders, credit repair, contractors, down payment assistance, etc.). I provide the information necessary to get my clients into the position they desire. I don’t believe in forcing or pushing sales. I never want my clients to close a deal feeling like they did not make the right choice for themselves due to outside pressure. My ultimate goal is to help people build wealth and legacies through real estate. I make sure that the Living Legacy Real Estate Brand is a trusted real estate resource in the community.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have been a licensed attorney for over 15 years and a real estate broker for nearly 10 years. I have legal experience in a variety of practice areas including estate planning and real estate. I began my career at a small to mid-size firm and eventually became a partner. In 2020 I knew that it was time for me to transition to my own business. I had built a strong real estate base with the right professional connections to greatly benefit my clients. I just needed to take a leap of faith. Although it was difficult to leave the firm that had been a home to me, not to mention leaving a salaried position with two young daughters, I did. After several years of planning and prepping, Living Legacy Real Estate was founded in 2020 as a means to help people acquire wealth through real estate.

Living Legacy Real Estate is a boutique real estate brokerage serving Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside counties. The Living Legacy Real Estate Team has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. The team includes an attorney for legal expertise and a licensed real estate appraiser to ensure the best listing and offer prices. We provide our clients with exceptional customer service with unmatched professionalism. The decision to officially launch Living Legacy Real Estate fulltime has been extremely fulfilling, exciting, and rewarding as our team has been able to successfully navigate others through the home listing and purchase process. We love helping others build legacies.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
As a graduate of UCLA I always love to stop by Westwood Village, stroll through the Santa Monica Pier & 3rd Street Promenade areas. I suggest a delicious brunch at The Serving Spoon or Post and Beam. I love stand-up comedy so a show at the Comedy Union followed by some live music at Pips on La Brea is great. Catching an event or show at LA Live, visiting the Magic Castle, and exploring the Griffith Observatory at sunset are a few of my other favorite activities.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I must first give a shout out to my mother and team member, Onvie Stockdale. She has lent her guiding wisdom as a former business owner and her expertise as a real estate appraiser to help me develop Living Legacy Real Estate. I would also like to acknowledge three very amazing friends/mentors who have been very influential in my journey as an entrepreneur – Liana Acosta (Real Estate Broker), Jasmine Morielli (Attorney), and Janessa Valera Cejas (Tax Attorney). I must also recognize all of my family members, friends, and clients who have supported my business and sent referrals.
