We had the good fortune of connecting with Knox Peake and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Knox, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I built my Instagram page organically and think the biggest driver of success behind its growth has been consistency. By that, I mean I have always stayed true to my mission of inspiring people to have fun being outdoors and traveling both locally and long distance. In addition, I love to focus on fashion and style and to make people want to tap into what they think makes them look good! I work on curating content daily and make sure that I’m having fun in what I’m creating because otherwise why would I do it? You have to have fun with what you do!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I originally started creating content as a hobby and to show the adventures I was taking and the life I was living in general. I never thought it would turn into a professional endeavor. The first time a brand reached out to me, I almost didn’t believe it was true. It turned out to be legitimate and from there I started working with other brands. I think what sets me apart from many others is that I have kept my content consistently positive while helping to create an escape for people. There’s so much negativity in the world today and I want to provide my audience a place to forget about that even if it’s just for a short time!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well of course I would start with West Hollywood – you could fill a week’s worth of activities there with all the dining and nightlife spots as well as historical landmarks like the Laugh Factory and the old Spago building! In fact, I have spent almost a week staying at the wonderful Mondrian Hotel as my base. I’d send them next door for a cocktail hour at the W Hotel in Hollywood. No trip to LA is complete without heading out to Santa Monica or Venice Beach and then heading up the PCH to Malibu! Los Angeles is one of the most diverse cities I’ve ever been to from the people, to the food, to the landscape. You can have beaches or mountains, Mexican or Asian food, partying or relaxing – why not do it all?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give a shoutout to two people – my husband and my mother! They are always willing to help me with content creation and execution. I like to bounce ideas off of them at times to get their opinions and listen to their creative input. Of course a lot of my content requires someone else to do the filming or photography and they are always willing to help me capture the perfect shot!
