Meet Kristen Terry: CEO & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristen Terry and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kristen, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
To stop living in fear. It takes tons of self awareness to even become aware of a pitfall or flaw. Once that happens, it takes tons of courage to take a step to make a change for the better. That alone, is scary, and takes a ton of energy. To make the decision to make a life altering decision that could open you up to become vulnerable and incredibly humble is terrifying. Showing your bare self without any shame truly makes for a fruitful relationship with yourself, your business, and those you love. It is worth making this genuine decision to better my stance in my business as well as in the world!
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Spending my entire life as an educated artist and businesswoman, I was able to blur many lines and accomplish things I never thought in a million years I would be able to do after so much adversity. I am definitely and most humbly proud of my accomplishments as a performing artist & business woman. From creating a touring production overseas, to learning mandarin, to obtaining additional education and licenses in Sports Therapy, Real Estate, and Personal Injury Industry. All my vast experience has lead me up to today and my current businesses. But for the sake of the article, I will focus on Terry Consultants ;). Encompassing everything Personal Injury as well as Galt Pharmaceuticals. Through tons of trial and error, and many challenges, I have entered into a business that uniquely helps people which is what I know is my reason on earth.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Riding scooters in Santa Monica by the pier with the fresh ocean breeze blowing through our hair, having a picnic by the water, working out or going for a jog on the sand, watching the sunset on the beach, and ending the night with a tasty home-cooked meal and some Moscow mules would be the perfect day. And, maybe making some homemade music beats, dancing some salsa, singing karaoke, and just acting a fool would be icing on the cake haha.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I tend to always be the support system and the rock of others. During COVID-19 shut downs, I had a really challenging time in business as well as personal like many others. This time I needed a support system and rock to pull me out the emotional hole I created for myself. My father, brother, & especially my best friend really helped me through. The positivity and encouragement was exactly what I needed to remind me of who I am and gave me the energy to keep fighting.
