Meet Kudy Kpanlin | Woman of many hats

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kudy Kpanlin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kudy, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Because we have one life and I promise I’m not wasting it on a 9-5 where I won’t be happy. Entrepreneur life definitely has its ups and downs but I’d chose me any day, I have full control and I love the process of creating and bringing ideas to life.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I always say I’m a woman of many hats, because I truly am. From my clothing brand to acting career & my events. I believe whatever you want in this world you have to do after, you can’t wait for it to fall in your lap. Any idea I have I tell myself to just do it because what’s the worst that can happen, I rather go for it then wonder what if. All of the paths I chose definitely has there challenges but by continuing and trusting the process I know I can’t fail. I’m big on GOD & he’s who truly gets me through it all. I’ve tried many things some didn’t go as planned but I always learn and grow from them so it sets me up to win really. Currently I’ve been working on making my event “ xperience la “ an experience you never want to miss , I’m working on elevating it to where I originally wanted it to go so I’m taking the necessary time and routes so that my next one is my best one and it will set the tone for the ones to come. My clothing brand “only accepting blessings” came from an original place of failure so I had to change my narrative and make it positive. The name is something so many people can relate to, next step for me is trying to figure out how it can grow.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to bossa nova , that’s my favorite place to eat because the food is good and the prices are perfect. I would probably go hiking at Runyon because I know it’s everyone’s to do list when coming to la that and seeing the hollywood sign. I don’t go out so my idea of having a good time would consist of going bowling and arcade or something of that sort. Of course driving in hills to see mansions and beautiful sights

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Family is number one , everything I do is because I want to eventually create a better life for us. Also my friends I truly am inspired daily in different ways by many of my friends success, they inspires me to keep going.
