We had the good fortune of connecting with Kyle LaLone and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kyle, why did you pursue a creative career?
Music has always been what I spend most of my time thinking about and doing. So it naturally was what I decided to pursue as a career.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
This past April I released an EP, my first as a country/Americana singer-songwriter, and am about to go back into the studio in early December to begin tracking my first full length record. After spending the better part of the last 10 years mainly working as a hired gun guitarist I am very excited about going all in on being a solo artist.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Tribal Cafe, Supersweet Tattoos and Coffee, My Vegan Gold Oi Asian Fusion, Tacos Tu Madre
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Special shoutout to my family, friends, girlfriend, and fellow musicians, who have kept me sane and enjoying the wild ride of being a professional musician.
