We had the good fortune of connecting with Lady Raw and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lady, why did you pursue a creative career?
Well being that I was always musically inclined I decided to pursue my career back in 2017 when I experienced a tragic loss. The loss of my older brother made me make my decision on pursuing my music career he always supported me and always told me to go hard at what I do and he’s the reason I’m where I’m at today.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a female rap artist who goes by the pseudonym Lady Raw I was born and raised in Savannah Ga. What sets me apart from others is that I apply pressure at whatever I do and I’m very consistent in what I do. My work definitely speaks for itself that’s how I got to where I am today by going hard and staying focus.. It’s never easy I had a few bumps in the road but by me putting god first I always got through it. What I want the world to know about me is that I’m just a single mom trying to make it happen for me and my kids I take my music career serious and hopefully the world will get a chance to see me shine one day.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting I would definitely take a week long trip to the west coast California to be exact. I’m not quite sure where we would eat but the studio is definitely a go to. I love music and I feel like anyone around me has to love music as well .

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I will like to Shoutout my manager which is my mom she definitely deserves recognition she keeps me going and helps me get through everything rather it’s the music or life situations.
