Meet Lake Cole | Realtor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lake Cole and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lake, what are you inspired by?
I’m inspired by seeing people live out their dreams. When I transitioned into my career in Real Estate, I realized that when you enjoy what you do, it doesn’t feel daunting or like work, as cliche as that may sound.
It’s a blessing to have a passion or love for something, so when you’re able to make a career out of it or do it everyday that’s inspirational.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My interest in Real Estate began back in 2016 when I took on a part-time role as a Realtor’s Assistant for extra income. I found myself loving the interactions I had with clients and the operations of it all. The realtor I was working for encouraged me to pursue a career in Real Estate and obtain my own license.
After that conversation, I decided to take the steps to start my journey to become a licensed Real Estate agent. One of the best feelings ever was passing the exam. My love and passion for the industry grew as I steadily built my business. Although the pandemic was an unexpected obstacle during my career, I saw the light at the end of the tunnel. It allowed me to sharpen my interpersonal skills, get outside my comfort zone and think of other ways to keep myself determined to continue building my business.
Whether they are buying or selling a property, I take pride in every transaction. I strive to provide top-tier service as their chosen realtor.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a (vegetarian) foodie so let’s start with some of my favorite places to eat! For an upscale lunch or dinner I love going to Cara Hotel in Los Feliz. The lemon pasta is 10/10.
If you’re out by Playa Vista Bull & Butterfly is a go-to. For great pizza I’m going to take you to North Hollywood and hit up NoHo pizza. Don’t sleep on the gluten-free crust.
I can’t forget about the OG of LA, Roscoe’s! Although I don’t indulge in the world famous chicken, I will order all the sides and enjoy a waffle (or two).
For light bites and coffee find me at Harun Coffee or Sip & Sonder both located in Inglewood. Harun’s avocado toast is so good! I would highly recommend it.
Anyone who lives or visits LA has to visit the beach. Malibu we go for the views and the vibes.
If we’re feeling a little bit more ambitious we will head for a hike and hit the Culver City stairs.
For a chill night out with great music the Godfrey Hotel rooftop is a great place.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give a shout out to my mentors Jason Lowery and Will Higgins. Despite what social media shows you, being a Real Estate Agent isn’t easy. Strong relationships, a great team and determination are a few of the most important things needed to succeed. I am grateful for these two for providing me with valuable lessons along the way.
