We had the good fortune of connecting with Lakesha Roberson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lakesha, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my business is that our products are a reflection of the women in my life. Fashion is my passion and each time I step out; I am representing the style, hard work, drive, determination and success of every woman that has been an inspiration to me..

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Trendireds is a business build on making every person feel like a million dollars when they are out and about. The old saying goes the best thing a person can wear is a smile…our goal is to enhance it with quality products that include clothing and accessories. TrendiReds is a vibe throughout the community, and its where you can be your best you. Expressions through Fashion! Let$ Talk About !t.

Getting the business ground was not an easy feat but I had many people in my corner to help me through. I worked on Marketing, Branding, and Designs with Eric Morrow to make my brand stand apart from everyone else. Through my journey, I have learned that despite all things that could have stopped me, I kept my head up, remained humbled and did exactly what I set out to do.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are so many wonderful places to visit in Los Angeles and surrounding area’s. We would visit LA Live, Sofi Stadium, Griffith Park, Hollywood Walk of Fame, The Tupac Experience, laugh factory and many many more. Eat and have drinks at a few places like The District for music and drinks, Pushkin Russian and Fogo De Choa Restaurant, and quick bites like Louisiana chicken, Steves Burgers, Tams, Ramonas, and King Taco. In between time, we’d  go shopping. The Fashion District, is a great place to do so, along with surrounding Outlets and city malls.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate this shoutout to all the women who inspire me daily to keep my grind going…My mother, aunts, Sista’s, cousins and especially Elissa Bree Walker. She passed away in 2020 and her memory became the driving force for Trendireds. She taught me that no matter the circumstances or obstacles, I could do anything. She will live forever in my heart and be the constant inspiration for my business.
