We had the good fortune of connecting with Lauren Bragg & Pamela Abbott-Mouchou and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lauren & Pamela, what are you inspired by?
Nature inspires us!

Feng shui is about understanding the silent dialogue between nature and man that is whispered through the cosmic breath known as chi, or life force energy. Thousands of years ago, the natural science and art of feng shui began with the simple observation that if you change your surroundings, you change your life.

Translated from Chinese, feng means wind and shui means water. When the wind, or your intention (what you cannot see) is combined with water, or matter (what you can see), positive change occurs. And so, feng shui is not just about creating beautiful spaces, it’s about accomplishing your goals and becoming the architect of change in your life.

Peoples’ surroundings not only reflect them but just as importantly, affect them. Our goal is to bring harmony into homes and spaces by clearing clutter, inviting healthy energy and balancing the Five Elements (fire, water, metal, earth, wood).
Our clients experience the magic of feng shui, and the result is a comfortable, safe and beautiful space.

After numerous successful events together, we were inspired to partner as a mother/daughter business in 2019, Pamela has nearly 3 decades of feng shui experience and Lauren has been a goal coach for over a decade. We are based in beautiful Santa Barbara, California and work on a scope of projects ranging from tiny homes to larger scale properties. We have a substantial online learning library and would be delighted to be invited into your home or business!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

A few things set us apart from other businesses in our field. First, we’re a mother/daughter business. Second, we have a unique methodology of intensive goal setting BEFORE working in physical spaces. Lastly, we bring both youth and experience to the our practice.

We’re most proud of the international recognition we’ve received through workshops, podcasts, magazine features and radio.

The foundation of our success is based on a strategic plan that is a living, breathing document for our business. We’ve been diligent in connecting with our local and digital/global communities through a variety of speaking engagements and through social channels.

What makes our business easy is that we love what we do! Pamela wears the hats in the business that Lauren doesn’t care to wear and vice versa, enabling a well balanced partnership. It’s definitely not always easy, though. For example, coordinating global time zones and navigating the challenges of the pandemic. But, we’re big on perseverance and adaptability; JUST KEEP GOING and be ready to pivot on a dime!

The main lesson that we’ve learned is that there’s always more to learn! Lifelong learning is one of our core values.

We want the world to know that we are here to support living a happy, healthy, abundant and magical life.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
