Meet Lawrence Longo | CEO of Best Buddy Hospitality; Prince Street Pizza, Irv’s Burgers, Bar Next Door & Sparky’s Sports Bar

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lawrence Longo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lawrence, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My father and grandfather were both entrepreneurs so I feel like its just in my DNA. I love the personalities that gravitate towards the food and hospitality industry so I knew it would be something in that world.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Quality ingredients, consistency, and genuine hospitality have guided what we do at Prince St. Pizza, Irv’s Burgers, Bar Next Door and Sparky’s Sports Bar. It’s not just about feeding people—it’s about doing things differently and delivering an experience that makes them want to come back again and again.
I’m proud of the way we’ve scaled these businesses yet maintained the quality. I didn’t invent the idea behind pizza, burgers, or a great bar; I just recognized there was room to make these concepts better. Being an entrepreneurship is not a job you can ever turn off, you have to live and breathe it, which can get exhausting, but I come from a line of entrepreneurs so its in my DNA. You gotta enjoy the ride and never give up.
If there’s one thing I want the world to know about our brand, it’s that we’re not in this for a quick profit. We are in it to create new, joyful moments (like our chicken tender festival, Tenderfest) that bring people together and create a vibe that feels like you’re hanging out with friends.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Day 1 – Breakfast Sandwiches at Calabama’s. Ordering the #19 for Lunch at Langers. I’d stop at The Bigg Chill for a little mid day snack. Dinner would be at Stella West Hollywood, followed by drinks at Bar Next door on Sunset. Then obviously we’d have a late night snack at Prince St. Pizza.
Day 2 – I’d take them on an LA burger tour… but first we’d hit a hike to earn it. The tour goes as follows:
1. Burgers Never Say Die
2. Amboy
3. Irv’s Burgers
4. Father’s Office
5. In n Out

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family! I am most inspired by them. They drive me to always want to win.
