We had the good fortune of connecting with Leah Eber ( pen name Leah Love) and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Leah, what inspires you?
I am inspired by authenticity and when people share their stories. We all have so much in common if we would just take the time to share our experiences. We are more connected than we think. Feeling connected is so important, because it helps give us purpose.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a recent author of the book, Chocolate Affirmations. At first, I was hesitant to publish something so personal to me. Once I realized my thoughts and experiences could help potentially help others in a positive way, my mindset changed completely. It was worth being vulnerable if I could help other women feel empowered and love themselves more. What I want people to know is that ultimately the world will see you how it wants, but only you get to decide how you perceive yourself. How you love yourself is going to be the most important story you will ever write. I want women to know that their thoughts and experiences are important, there is so much power and strength in each person’s story.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I like to show people new experiences! I want people to feel alive when they are with me, so if they would be open maybe we could go sky diving or ziplining. I love the idea of taking a professional cooking class or dining by the water. There would definitely be a lot of hiking and time spent in nature.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate this shout out to my mom! She has always encouraged me to pursue my dreams no matter how big or small. She is always standing in my corner no matter what!
