We had the good fortune of connecting with Leah Eber and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Leah, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When it comes to health, many people don’t even know where to begin. They are overwhelmed by what they see and what they read. There is so much information out there! I wanted to be able to help people solve their most pressing questions in regards to their: health, wellness and nutrition. I wanted to make a direct impact on people’s lives and help give them a solution that would address their needs.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a former elite track athlete, turned fitness trainer. I specialize in: fitness, nutrition and wellness. I believe that healing the mind and body go hand in hand. I love helping people find their inner and outer strength. I understand what it’s like to push the body to its limits. This really helps me relate to my client’s internal and external struggles. Being healthy is not easy, but it is a very important journey in life. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to strive for progress, never perfection. Perfect doesn’t exist, but we should all try to become the best version of ourselves. Having a career ending injury really helped me realize I wanted to help others pursue their ultimate physical goals. I want to help people become their best! Life Solutions Fitness was established because I wanted to help others “live in fulfillment everyday” whether it is in their wellness, their nutrition or their fitness. Health is something we all take for granted. What I want the world to know is that there is always a way to find the perfect solution for you and your health. My company is a reflection of me and my story. I want to inspire people to be better, everyday. It is always the smallest things in life that ultimately make the biggest impact.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would definitely have to take a walk by the water, while sipping on some local coffee or tea. I love sushi, so we would need to get some of that for sure! We could also go kayaking or biking on a trail or hit up an art museum. I love a good adventure, so we may even go skydiving! The world is our oyster.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family is my biggest support. Growing up, I was never told I was incapable of doing anything. The sky has always been the limit for me. My dreams have never been too big. Growing up with that mentality has really allowed me to maintain a growth perspective and I have carried that point of view with me throughout my entire life.
