We had the good fortune of connecting with Lee Charm and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lee, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I pursued an artistic and creative career because music has always been a profound part of my life. From a young age, I felt a deep connection to the way music can convey emotions, tell stories, and bring people together. The creative process allows me to express myself authentically and connect with others on a meaningful level. It’s both a passion and a calling that I couldn’t ignore.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My music blends diverse influences, reflecting my personal experiences and cultures I’ve encountered. What sets me apart is my authenticity and storytelling through lyrics. Beyond being an artist, I also excel in creative direction, styling, TV production, and curating live music events. This multifaceted approach allows me to connect people and elevate brands and artists by creating unique opportunities.

My journey hasn’t been easy, but I’ve overcome challenges through perseverance and the support of my family and mentors. My brand is built on passion and the belief that genuine connections through music and creative projects can lead to incredible places. Whether producing music videos, styling, or performing, I aim to create amazing projects that bring people together.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Day 1: Brunch at Republique, visit Getty Center, dinner at Yamashiro.
Day 2: Breakfast at Sqirl, hike Griffith Park, lunch at Grand Central Market, visit The Broad, dinner at Perch.
Day 3: Brunch at Gjelina, explore Venice Beach, lunch at Eggslut, Santa Monica Pier, dinner at Nobu Malibu.
Day 4: Breakfast at Farmers Market, visit LACMA, lunch at In-N-Out Burger, explore Hollywood Blvd, dinner at Bestia.
Day 5: Brunch at Bottega Louie, explore Silver Lake and Echo Park, dinner at République.
Day 6: Breakfast at Blu Jam Café, scenic drive to Malibu, lunch at Malibu Farm Pier Café, relax on the beach, dinner at Nobu Malibu.
Day 7: Brunch at The Ivy, visit Getty Villa, explore Abbot Kinney, dinner at Catch LA.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely, I’d love to give a shoutout to my family, who have been my rock from the very beginning. Their unwavering support and encouragement have been instrumental in my journey. I’d also like to thank my mentors and collaborators in the music industry who have guided me and shared their wisdom, helping me grow as an artist.
