Meet Lilia Asserian | bartender

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lilia Asserian and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lilia, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was first working as a barista at coffee shop and the owner decided to open her new restaurant which they were provide full bar and alcohol drink, so i decided to get my own bartending license to work as a bartender on her new restaurant.
so, after i got my license and took bartending classes I thought about to start my own mobile-bartending business too. So, I go do my own events

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business is mobile-bartending which I provide bar services for any types of occasions such as Birthday parties, private events, small type of weddings.

It was not easy but i put effort and took class to learn and have some idea how to make cocktails and etc.

I learned that if you put effort and dedication you will gain and get what you want, its just you have to do it.

That if you want something in your life you need to get up and earn it, by seating down and just wish about it you will not get there.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would say I will take her to beaches, and since I like Persian food I would definitely take her to some good Persian cuisine.
I like beaches, I like to go to different types of concert.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shoutout my pervious work place owner that i still do work with her some weekends that by her thought to open a restaurant she made me think to get my liquor license
