We had the good fortune of connecting with Lillian Victoria and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lillian, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
I would say the goal never changes, the plan does. If the plan you have isn’t working, trust your intuition and change the plan. I would ask yourself why did you set this goal in the first place? What was the desire? Did you make a commitment to yourself to see this through? If you knew how to get to your goal, you would already be doing it, We all have to go through a growth process to get to our destination. Failing is also NOT an identity, it’s an experience. Trust your intuition on when to give up on this “plan”, and change it and keep going.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a high-performance coach and speaker with extensive entertainment experience. I started this profession the week COVID shut down Los Angeles. It wasn’t planned that way, but I was able to use the beauty of the internet to launch my business. My background is a film/ media, when I made the transition, it was something that I always wanted to do. The desire came when I was in management, constantly developing myself and my team, then there came the crash in my life when I literally lost everything, my career, my marriage, and everything I built. I was lost, and the first challenge was to identify what I wanted to do that would get me excited. Covid didn’t stop me from launching my business, it allowed me to be more creative. I started to use social media in ways that I would have never used, I started to connect with people all around the world, which opened up more opportunities, and I started to work with clients, entrepreneurs all around the world. It wasn’t an easy road along the way, getting into a new business, being creative in using the internet, and what I’ve learned is we have it all in us. What you want yourself, you already have it, you just have to go and do it!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Experiences: Universal Studios, Santa Monica Pier Outdoor adventure: Runyon Canyon
Sightseeing: Griffith Park Observatory to see the famous LA skyline
Dinner: Moonshadow in Malibu and watch the sunset on the coast, Crossroads in WEHO to enjoy the state of the art vegan food, Parks BBQ in Koreatown
Shopping: Classic Rodeo Drive

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would give a huge shout-out to Jerry Tzang who’s been supporting me through my journey, and amazing accountability friends around me such as Troy Chadwick and Cary Hokama for always reminding me to keep moving forward with my goals, and last my mentor Bob Proctor.
