Meet Lisa Ing | Artist & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lisa Ing and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lisa, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
This is one of my favorite Alan Watts quotes:
“If you awaken from this illusion and you understand that black implies white, self implies other, life implies death—you can feel yourself not as a stranger in the world, not as something here on probation, not as something that has arrived here by fluke, but you can begin to feel your own existence as absolutely fundamental. What you are basically—deep, deep down, far, far in—is simply the fabric and structure of existence itself.”

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m always busy running my business, infiniteLi. It’s a celebration of abundance and infinite possibilities through art and lifestyle products that inspire people to see the beauty and magic in our everyday.
But success hasn’t been a straight line. Being an entrepreneur is full of challenges, and I’ve made changes and pivots in my business throughout the years.
For example, I only sold handmade jewelry when I started my business. However, one day I was experimenting in photoshop with pictures of my jewelry for social media. As a result, I created a bunch of beautiful geometric designs. These designs eventually grew into an extensive catalog of surface patterns.
Since then, I’ve partnered with Zazzle, a U.S.-based print-on-demand company, to create yoga mats and other products that showcase my designs. I love that these designs were initially derived from my jewelry and given new life! You can shop my Zazzle store at www.zazzle.com/store/
My handmade jewelry is no longer available on my primary website. And instead, I’m building a virtual boutique in the Metaverse (construction is currently in progress) for my jewelry and other handmade products.
The evolution of my brand has been both challenging and exciting, and I look forward to whatever evolves. Currently, I offer a select variety of bespoke lifestyle products on my main website: www.infiniteli.shop.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Day 2: Head to Huntington Library and explore the beautiful gardens.
Day 3: Spend the day at Disneyland and California Adventure. Ride the rides, see the shows, and explore the parks.
Day 4: Enjoy some fun in the sun at Manhattan Beach – swim, sunbathe, and relax.
Day 5: Visit Santa Monica pier and dine at Casa Del Mar or Shutters on the Beach. Then head down to Venice Beach to explore the boardwalk and grab some drinks at the Venice Ale House.
Two of my favorite must-eat places are “Little Fatty” in Mar Vista for Taiwanese Soul Food and the “Iron Teapot” in Culver City for dim sum. (Both places have a great selection of vegan dishes).

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I dedicate this shoutout to my sweetheart, Kent. Your unconditional love, friendship, and support are my most cherished possessions.
