We had the good fortune of connecting with Liv Heavenly and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Liv, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I think risk taking is apart of everyday life no matter what you do! Whether it’s taking risk in your style, your job, taking risks in your relationships and stepping outside your comfort zone. Taking risk makes room for growth and new opportunities and advancement. I’ve taken many a risk when it’s come to my career. It was a risk to even decide to come out as an artist and put my music out there. It was a risk to sign with a new independent label. These risks plus so many more is the reason I’ve been able to grow and progress in my career. I’m definitely an advocate for being a risk taker.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I a new artist from Detroit who stands for love, positivity, and creativity. I got my start singing in church. I grew up always performing when I had the chance to. I went to school for a little bit trying to peruse a more professional route but found there was nothing that really fueled me the way performing did. I realized I had to give my dreams a shot so I would have no regrets looking back. I eventually tried my luck as a serious artist and soon received good feedback and was discovered by my label, BNA Global Records, and got to work. I began working with my producer, WhtNoize, and began releasing singles and videos and growing my following. I’m very fortunate to have the help I do and the team I do to be and I am taken care of well. Of course life has its ups and downs but right now Things are looking up and I’m excited.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
LA is full of beautiful gems! I’m more of a nature girl so I enjoy hanging in the mountains and looking at the stars more than anything. I also love visiting the beaches. I love going to the fashion district and I love eating at LA cafe

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shout out to God for always looking out for me and blessing me. Shout out to my family and friends for all of their love and support. Also shout out to my team for working tirelessly everyday to help me get closer to my dreams!
