We had the good fortune of connecting with Live and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi LIVe, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
I feel that risks are necessary parts of advancing and achieving your goals. However these risks definitely need to be calculated. Don’t take stupid chances. I submitted and pitched my music and myself to WUSA Z9 News & 93.9 WKYS: Now I’ve performed my music on live television and sang/played my own music live on-air. So definitely take a good amount of calculated risks.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My music fully encompasses a wide range of human emotions. From my song Alone, when you feel alone in a crowd full of people. To my freestyle, Free Game, where I’m letting folks know how far ahead I am now in my music career. It wasn’t easy to get to where I’m at now but my support system made it a lot easier!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We’d definitely go on a museum spree. We’d also rent a paddle boat and some fishing poles and see what we could catch. Catch a movie at Annapolis Mall and then shop till we drop after. Definitely hit up Monster Glow-in-the-Dark mini golf before she left.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’ve been singing since a child. Thanks to my mom’s expansive collection of Whitney Houston, Mo-Town, and Cece Winan’s hits. My vocal coach Dwight McNair, helped me hone my talent got years. He even helped me curate my own show. My parents, friends and family have all supported me throughout my music career whether it be by buying tickets to shows or just an encouraging word.
