We had the good fortune of connecting with Lizbeth Van zoelen and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lizbeth, how do you think about risk?
I think risk is a choice. I love being able to make risks because I am exploring my ability to be better. The fear I have when I take a risk is making it my friend not my enemy. When I was 16 Years old, it was my first role, I was lefou from the play beauty and the beast. This role made me realize that I wanted to be an actriz. I wanted to take risk, I wanted to be the character.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am proud of how far I am. I never thought I would be in Los Angeles living the dream. Soon I will be moving to New York city to experience the other side of America. I am so excited for God’s plan for me. He is being good and I am doing what he wants me to do. I got here because I believe God has a purpose for me, and that purpose was for me to change the world. I am today because of God and I am happy how much I grew. It was not easy at all, I had tough days but also beautiful memories. We learn and we grow. And I would not change anything that has to happen to me. I learn to be patient. That’s my number one. Number two is to be kind. And number three to be vulnerable sometimes. The three made me who I am today. I want the world to know that we are not alone, that people will come and go in and out of your life, and God has a plan for them. Everything is a lesson. Don’t give up.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First I would take them to broken egg to have breakfast. Then we will go to Malibu beach to tan because who doesn’t like tanning. Later, mama shelter has the best drinks and desserts. For the next days, we will take a hike to see the Hollywood sign. And then have a picnic, go to the zoo, and maybe go to big bear.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mom and dad have been so supportive. They have been in every step of my career and they see me struggle, happy, positive, negative, and curious. Also my friends from Mexico. We still talk and they are real friends that want me to see my dreams come true.
