We had the good fortune of connecting with Luis Garcia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Luis, how does your business help the community?
Gradoz helps by connecting people who know with people who want to learn, with no filters or middlemen.
Less useless content, more real skills.
Learning stops being boring and starts being useful in real life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My work focuses on building and leading Gradoz, a technology platform designed around real learning communities, where knowledge has practical and economic value. What sets me apart is that I build from real problems, not trends: boring education, underpaid creators, and communities without purpose.
What I’m most proud of is taking Gradoz from an idea to a functional product without external backing, without a large team, and without shortcuts, learning and building at the same time. It hasn’t been easy. The journey has been filled with uncertainty, tough decisions, and long periods of pushing forward without immediate validation.
I overcame challenges by doing what actually works: iterating, listening, correcting, and continuing. Along the way, I learned that consistency beats talent, honest feedback matters more than applause, and a clear vision is more important than perfection.
What I want the world to know is this:
Gradoz is not just a platform, it’s a stance. A belief that learning can be useful, human, and sustainable—and that anyone with real knowledge can build impact and a community around it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting, I’d take them to Los Angeles or New York for a one-week trip focused on real experiences, not tourist traps.
We’d eat at great local spots and food markets, grab coffee at creative cafés, and explore neighborhoods on foot to feel the city’s energy. I’d mix in culture—museums, iconic streets, and creative spaces—with nights out at bars or live music venues that have real personality. One or two days would be unplanned, just discovering places as we go. If we’re in LA, we’d add a beach or nature escape; in New York, long walks through different neighborhoods.
For me, the most fun and exciting part isn’t just the places, but the people, the conversations, and the atmosphere—that’s what makes a trip unforgettable.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to recognize the people who believed when Gradoz was just an idea, those who gave me honest feedback (even when it was uncomfortable), and the creators who believe in sharing knowledge without pretending.
Also, the books and resources on entrepreneurship and technology that taught me to think in systems, not just ideas.
And above all, the people who pushed me not to settle, to keep building even when there were no visible results.
None of this is built alone. Gradoz is the result of all that collective support.
