We had the good fortune of connecting with Luis Marin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Luis, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My first thought behind starting my own business was the fear of being capped and limited in how much I could make and grow. I realized that working for others often restricted my creativity and knowledge because many employers believe their ideas are the only right ones rather than learning from the value others bring. I didn’t want to be stuck in this cycle, so I decided to break free by starting my own business in media creation.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from everyone else is that I go above and beyond to cater to my client’s needs, ensuring that all of them are met with a guaranteed return on investment! I am most proud and excited about delivering actual results and significantly scaling businesses, big or small. I have big clients, such as The Scar Healing Institute and Hazanyderm, for whom I’ve helped generate more than a couple of million dollars in revenue. I also work with smaller clients, including gyms, restaurants, and barbershops. Big or small, I can scale any business!
Getting to where I am today professionally was not easy. I have faced numerous failures and countless rejections. The key is never to give up because eventually, you will get a yes, and that yes will be the turning point in your business, launching you to places you never thought possible. My failures have opened doors for me because they are not failures but lessons. It is not easy, but you must be willing to work hard and push through when times are tough. With this mindset, you will win.
I want the world to know that anyone can start a business. It won’t be easy, and you will fail, but you will learn and improve through those failures. My brand stands for building and never giving up, doing what one thought was impossible. Any business can grow and make money if done correctly. Leo Life Investments stands to invest in any company I work with to ensure growth!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting the area, I would show them Beverly Hills because many of my clients and mentors live here. This area inspires with its beauty! I would also take them to all the studio tours because that is a history. I would show them all of the fantastic houses around LA because they are rich in history, and the new modern homes are so beautiful.
For a week-long trip, here’s a little itinerary:

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The person who has had a profound impact on my life is Eric, my best friend from the East Coast. He always told me I was destined for big things in life and that working for one person was not it. He would always encourage me to take risks and do things that scare me because those are the experiences that would genuinely make me grow in life and business.
I also have to credit two big mentors in my life. First, LoLo, a successful business owner from Panama who moved to LA to build his coffee business, Mendo! Mendo is a very successful coffee shop in Panama. LoLo has instilled great wisdom in me with his years of experience in business and has passed it on to me. This has allowed me to work alongside him here in LA on small projects that the coffee shop needs!
Secondly, I want to thank Bernard Chong, a man of many words and actions. Bernard has been a significant mentor by pushing me and introducing opportunities whenever people cross his life. He is the connector, bringing people together so that knowledge can be shared throughout. He is a teacher in business and life, and he has given me opportunities to work with him and his peers to help further invest in myself and my business.
