We had the good fortune of connecting with Luna 13 and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Luna 13, why did you pursue a creative career?
I believe an artist is a natural born thing. An artist has to create, it’s like a spiritual therapy that is a necessity. The phases in my life that didn’t include art were a real challenge. Dark art is the most fulfilling aspect of LUNA 13’s life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Luna 13 creates a completely new genre of music called Black/Bass/Metal by merging bass music and black metal. We were the first bass music project to win Metal awards and to play at Bass Music and Metal festivals.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We love the sunset strip. Some of LUNA 13’s best times are there. The Whisky Ago-Go, The Rainbow and Mels dinar are a must.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
