We had the good fortune of connecting with Lydia Mouton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lydia, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Integrity, honesty, truthfulness, humility, loyalty, compassion, sensitivity, being positive and not being fault finders are principles that matters most to me. Because I believe these principles helps to identify who you are in shaping and molding character, virtues and values!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
A community void of gifts and talents limits the ability to express our artistic abilities. My creative gifts and talents as a vocalist, actress, author, vocal and life Coach, grants me the opportunity to share my creative expressions to encourage, motivate, train, teach and helping to develop a more excellent you as an artist and a person with a heart to served other people with love. And I so enjoys helping others to succeed in their other creative interests.  I desired to use all of my professional training, skills and life experiences to shape and mold those who are up and coming artists that are opened to grow creatively, emotionally, spiritually and socially.

Having more wisdom, insights, knowledge and skills to add to their artistic expressions, will enhance their endeavors in the fields of entertainment and music. Being more confident and having an awareness of how to co-exist in the business can help prevent some of the unnecessary pitfalls. Because our industry is filled with many ups and downs, disappointments and or rejections, we must be prepared to win or lose to help develop strength, endurance, character and faith in the gifts and talents that we are blessed with, as we reach our highest potential as an artist and as a person who matters in our community, it’s an awesome contribution.

I truly believe because of my faith in God, I was able to overcome many pitfalls with a positive outlook on life. Just knowing my divine purpose, recognizing myself worth and not compromising my values and principles sustained me. The major lessons I learned along the way as an individual is to be true to my purpose un-apologetically and never allow others to rob your joy and or control your destiny. Being respectfully, wise and learning how to disagree in love and not in strife. A daily self-evaluation grants us the opportunity to fine tune areas in our life that’s needs strengthen. Work smarter, not harder, so time is utilized wisely.

As an artist having the ability to stand out with originality that can captivate the audience with messages that can compel others to become the best that they can be are fruitful seeds. Focus, dedication, hard work and commitment to win are strong building blocks and tools to use too establish your place under the Sun!  Vocalcoachmomma; is my brand that allows me to establish a genuine professional relationships with my students, that offers comfortability, trust and mentorship without judgement.

In my vocal training camp, I am a mom who is fun loving, caring, firm, knowledgeable, sensitive, trained, experienced, skillful, confident and very focused on solid developmental training skills that will enhance my student’s opportunities to achieve with confidence. What I would want the world to know about my brand and story is, the life that you live speaks louder than the songs that you sing.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Breakfast at home, lunch at The California Fish Grill in Culver City, Healthy restaurants at nice locations, Santa Monica beach, nice shopping centers, Places of worship, Music recording studios, the gym, dancing and in the evening and enjoying a Music Concert

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
