We had the good fortune of connecting with Madison Sloane Holland and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Madison Sloane, what inspires you?
Community. The world itself is so transformative, commYOUnity, commUNITY… It’s become clear to me that we as people thrive when we come together and create.
In community we get to see ourselves through many mirrors, and get more aspects of our being reflected back to us versus when we are alone. We need these mirrors to grow beyond what we can see.
People who value community are the kinds of people I look for in my life because it is the place I experience the most inspiration, fulfillment, and accomplishment.
I’m inspired by people who are living their truth and creating businesses that reflect that and I’m even more inspired to continue to bring these kinds of like-minded individuals together,
What should our readers know about your business?
The tagline for my marketing agency is “powered by your passion” and this kind of sums me up for you. I’m part Italian, Jewish, and I’m an Aries. I am so passionate! I’m passionate about supporting people in creating what they truly want and I care so deeply about their happiness.
As a digital marketer, or as I like to say, Marketing Maven, I need people to know that marketers can be worse than lawyers. As a natural mama-bear-kinda-vibe-gal, I felt my place in the marketing community to hold space and support where I can. There are a lot of unethical shenanigans that have shown up in the industry with business owners. paying marketers for services such as SEO and then having no understanding of where their money went. I felt called to start my own company that treats clients like family. I started my business RISE Integrated Marketing a few years ago and at the beginning, it was just me, but today I have a team that stands beside me, who I could not do the work that I do without them. I am ever grateful to their consistent service and impeccable work.
I have had the opportunity to make a difference in people’s companies and organizations and I have been able to support industries that I care deeply about like holistic/alternative/integrative health and education. I have had the opportunity to work with extraordinary people who are making a difference in those industries in the mainstream, including current client Fran Drescher (The Nanny) with her non-profit organization, Cancer Schmancer, and recent client Dr. Daryl Gioffre.
When my parents split up, I lived at my mom’s in Calabasas at the edge of Old Topanga Canyon and every other weekend I went to live with my dad in Marina Del Rey /Venice Beach area. I sort of led two lives. At my dads I would skateboard and explore being a hippie, wear different clothes just to try another expression, I’d hangout with boys that didn’t go to my high school, etc. When it was time to go back to my moms, I’d put all that aside in its box until I’d come for it the following weekend. These two sides still play out in my life in ways I’ve chosen to accept for the better.
As I mentioned, I have a marketing agency, but that is not my only business. In 2017 I started a Podcast called Clit Talk. Not kidding. In fact, this is the first time I am publicly sharing online about my work with Clit Talk and my work with my marketing company, under the same Alias. I guess I’m COMING OUT on SHOUT OUT! Ayyyy!
ABOUT CLIT TALK
Living a pleasure positive lifestyle is Clit Talk’s expertise. The hosts of Clit Talk – Lindsey, Katie, and Sugar – have spent the last 170+ episodes interviewing everyone from doctors, sexperts, celebrities and even porn stars, to some of the top thought leaders in pleasure positive living, sexual & mental health, and healing trauma. The girls next door go out, try all the boundary-pushing sexcapades, confronting and disrupting their shame, then hop on the air to tell all the gritty details. They will try almost anything ONCE. Like getting pregnant at a sex party… #truestory.
I’m not the one that got pregnant at a sex party but I am the one that goes by Sugar on the show. It has taken something for me to fully accept my own truth and to let go of the fear I had around not being accepted in my profession as a marketer due to the work I am doing with Clit Talk. What I have found is the opposite. When I’m in conversation with someone and both Clit Talk and my marketing company come up, they find it awesome! They seem to appreciate me more I guess.
I learned that speaking our truth is the most important thing. People respect the truth. We fear the reaction we may get when we speak our truth but that fear creates the very thing we’re afraid of, as fear often does. When we come from fear, we create what we don’t want. When we come from our truth we create what we want.
With the amount of listeners we have today and the amount who write in and share the difference our show has made for them in their lives has been such a truth mirror for me. Our three year anniversary of Clit Talk was on Mother’s Day and it inspired me to come out about my story more personally than I had planned.
Alongside my two companies, I also created a community called Consciouspreneurs. Consciouspreneurs is a virtual community of connected, self-aware, grateful, humble, inspiring, purpose-driven people across all industries, from tech to holistic health, to sustainable energy, to relationship coaching, to fitness, to crypto, to you name it.
This was birthed in April 2020 in response to the Pandemic. I imagined all of my entrepreneurial friends, who would be working on their businesses from their homes and I anticipated they may start to feel like they’re doing it alone. Some backstory: I’m the kind of person at the party who spends their time talking to everyone about their business. I love supporting people with creating what they want in life and actually getting it – hence I started a marketing company. So I decided to invite all of these “consciouspreneurs” to meet once a week on Zoom for a think tank so they could come together as a community and see themselves and their visions more clearly through the reflection of one another.
My vision of my most desirable life looks like living on an island on the beach with my beloved husband, in an eco-friendly sustainable housing community, with a farm and a garden and extraordinary people!

MY ANGEL HUSBAND: Austin McDonald
This man is the most extraordinary man I know. He met me when I was twenty years old and taught me about meditation. Here we are seven years later, waking up together every morning still meditating. We have grown together spiritually, we have healed past trauma together, and we find ourselves expanding in our love for one another more and more. He is a brilliant entrepreneur… bringing sustainable housing, energy storage and enhanced data server technology together to create sustainable communities around the world. He is also sharing a new form of meditation that helps people easily connect their body, mind and spirit.
