We had the good fortune of connecting with Mahogany Clark and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mahogany, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was building generational wealth. I wanted to start something from nothing and build it so that I can provide from myself my future child, family, and even their own future family. I was extremely excited and I could wait to put everything in motion. One thing about me is when I put my mind to something I always see it through. Most importantly I made sure it was a business that I would be passionate about doing.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am most proud of my mentality that I carry at my age. I always wanted greater for myself and that is what I have accomplished and will continue to do so. I self published my first book at 19 years old, and now I have started my very own trucking company at 21, so I am excited to see what is next for me. Sometimes there are circumstances where things in life are handed to you, but in my case everything that I ever wanted I had to put in the effort to gain it. I overcame many of my challenges by continuing to move forward no matter how hard it got and people along the way helped me, because they saw where I was willing to put in the effort. I want the world to know that you can do anything you put your mind to, you just have to know you want to do this, and never be afraid to invest in yourself. Lastly if I had listen to anyone who told me that I could not I would not be where I am today.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yes, of course! people that I would love to dedicate my shoutout to is Freddie Wilson, and Ayanna Mills for helping me on my journey with becoming a better author and being so Ginuwine to me. Also to my father Cyrus Clark, Ruben Diaz, Lawrence Pervier, and Rasean Willaims for helping on my journey to starting my trucking business as a owner operator they helped me with what ever I needed and just supporting me even when it got hard very much appreciated and I will never forget it!
