We had the good fortune of connecting with Marcin Wisniewski and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marcin, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success has been my unwavering dedication to my craft, coupled with a deep-rooted passion for music. My journey began when I was very young, growing up in a modest household. Music wasn’t always readily available, but I found a guitar that someone had discarded in the garbage, and that moment changed my life. I was determined to learn, driven by a creative spirit that led me to make drums out of saran wrap and Tupperware, using pencils as drumsticks.

My mother, who was doing everything she could to provide for us, eventually saved up to buy me a proper instrument. By then, my passion had already been ignited, and I was incredibly grateful for her investment in my future.

That early experience taught me the value of perseverance and creativity, and it’s something I carry with me to this day. I absolutely love what I do, and that passion hasn’t faded. Of course, there have been challenges along the way, but the joy I find in creating and sharing music has always kept me going. I’m incredibly grateful to have found my calling in life, and I believe that my dedication and love for music are what continue to drive my success.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My journey in music has been a long and often challenging one, but it has also been incredibly rewarding. Initially, I wanted to be a drummer, but I found my true calling with the guitar. What sets me apart is my dedication to continuously pushing the boundaries of my craft. I didn’t take my music career seriously until I was deeply immersed in my guitar playing, and that commitment has driven me to where I am today.

The path to success in music hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced numerous obstacles, including health issues like ulcerative colitis and multiple hand injuries. One notable challenge was having to perform just days after a severe wrist injury that required stitches. Despite these setbacks, I managed to keep moving forward, demonstrating my resilience and commitment to my art.

I’ve learned many valuable lessons along the way. It’s essential to be approachable, responsible, and to maintain integrity in all that you do. Building strong relationships and surrounding yourself with positive influences is crucial. Moreover, staying dedicated, constantly improving your craft, and loving what you do are fundamental to long-term success.

What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that my passion for guitar and music drives everything I do. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities I’ve had and am committed to sharing my music with the world. My journey has taught me the importance of perseverance, self-investment, and staying true to my artistic vision.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting New York City for a week, I’d be excited to show them the best the city has to offer. With so much to do, I’d tailor our itinerary to include both iconic experiences and personal favorites. We’d start with a classic NYC breakfast—sesame seed bagels with cream cheese—before exploring Central Park and taking in views from the One World Trade Center. A visit to the Financial District and a Broadway show would follow.

The next days would feature cultural highlights at the Met or MoMA, wandering through Greenwich Village and SoHo, and enjoying rooftop bars with city views. I’d also take them to a local market or food festival and catch a performance by a friend. For a change of pace, we’d do a day trip to nearby attractions like the Hudson Valley.

Throughout the week, I’d make sure to incorporate their interests and suggestions, ensuring we both have an unforgettable time exploring New York City’s vibrant offerings.
