We had the good fortune of connecting with Marlow Fox and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marlow, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Calculated risk, that is the type of risk I like to take. I truly believe I wouldn’t have a fullfilled life without risk. I always think about the future, from the start to the end. Although you never know what the future may bring, being prepared has helped me navigate through the risks I take. I feel like a big flaw in our society today is not thinking about what consequences risks or chances may have. I think of all the possibilities before I take any risk. Although I won’t know the exact outcome it helps me prepare and plan for what is to come. Having back up plans up front has also  helped me steer from one direction to another when I see fit.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Fox Real Estate SoCal, I am a Realtor. I know this word is so trendy, but I love being an entrepreneur. I have been investing in real estate for over a decade now. I have been a denim designer for over 15 years while owning a retail store in Highland Park called Foxhole where we sell vintage denim and tees and  recycled, repurpose, repair & alter denim by appointment for our customers. I think that sets me apart in the Realtor world. Understanding business and how to be able to best serve customers a with clear communicate is something I take very seriously. I like to be able to offer my clients a thorough understanding of real estate, style and investment. I am excited to work with each new client and their specific needs, wants and desires. I got where I am today by having excellent customer service, being honest, a great negotiator and always trying to learn as much as I can so I can benefit my clients. It’s never easy, but you learn from your mistakes and conquer the next goal even harder and with grace!
The biggest lesson I have learned along the way is that the world changes around you and you have to be able to pivot at any instance.

I am a hardworking , ball busting , loving and a honest person who strives to succeed and make a difference in this world we live in.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband, Jeff, my best friend, my goal tackler in crime haha. I am so lucky to have found my soul mate. He has been such a motivator, cheerleader and will give me a good push if I need one to help conquer my goals and take those risks needed. Life is hard, there is no sugar coating it. Loving what you do, who you are and the people and life around you makes everyday worth giving 110% of yourself to. That being said, I am so so grateful to have someone by my side 24/7, anytime , anywhere , anyhow. He is honest and straight forward with no BS and I am so thankful for that. It’s frustrating to me when you ask advise from  people and they tell you what they think you want to hear. Jeff doesn’t or won’t do that. I love it and it’s hard sometimes to hear , but honesty is the best policy! Thanks babe, love you more.
