Hi Mason, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk ,

Risk to me is life’s little loop hole I feel is provided to us beings. Where morally there is a decision , where both lanes one could choose could lead to the same result. Accept … one could mean utter destruction ( gross exaggeration ) or a boost to the finish line faster.

The way I see “ risk”.

Risks in my career / life have played a major role into getting me where I’m at artist wise / identity wise. It’s taught me also a great lesson in the balance of passions , more so meaning the cost of something and it’s a receipt’s.

Soley because a risk is worth taking doesn’t always mean there won’t be greater more worth risks to take in the near future. While simultaneously keeping aware of when to and not to take that extra leap of risk. It’s valuable in my opinion to have a distinct sense of what either can do.

I see my self as divergent …

I am the DevilWitaHalo.

From birth art and me just made sense. Music – dance – theatre – falling into creative visual works / processing.

My story is / has become so vivid you guys would have sit down have a conversation with me over a joint 222 gage how fortune and blessed I’ve been in this journey / simulation I’ve been apart of.

Should’ve died decades ago but I’m here. A product and solution of my environment.

an magician of sorts or wizards as my friends call me.

My prowess + my story isn’t even mine , it’s everyone else’s if that’s makes sense …. I feel even my feelings and dreams aren’t jus my own. More so I’m a vessel living for and through the souls who didn’t get to reach how I’ve reached and even then … how further I am destined to reach.

My art has been defined by my survival. My blood lust and insatiable appetite for the next greatest thing in my eyes through the arts. Recalibrations and minimal presence I feel I’ve become a Batman in my art world in a way. I don’t mind being up front but simultaneously eye like being behind the scenes creating the magic , the real magic.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If you’re visiting the sacramento area first place fasho would be visiting my favorite Mexican spot of 16th , taqueria Jalisco .

Followed by checking out the art / murals around the midtown downtown area. Last few years they’ve a lot of dope locally goated muralists.

Definetly peeping the night scene , i my self sm not the night club type but would advise those whom are to check out the Tiger bar ! A known hot spot for majority of sacramento talent to meet up !

Any and allllll chicken spots in sac are must peep. Also on the vegan / smoothie note the milkshakes over at power plant off R street lofts are fye !!!

As a dancer there are alot of dope Venues / sessions held by California all stars in the dance world from Koncept , kida , Leo the lion , jaylen Tyre , and Bryan Dang. Known stapes in the dance scene in sacramento , guaranteed any info from them you’ll find great excitement with the events they throw !

Aside from such im more of the workaholic type. More so prone to just chill inside with my family or kids.

Could suggest going over to the Crocker art museum, Crest theatre and of course the imax theatre when comes to art culture in the movie world !
