Hi Matan, how does your business help the community?
At DIME SNS Construction, we believe building isn’t just about results but about strengthening communities. We help homeowners unlock the full potential of their properties through ADUs, remodels, and outdoor living spaces, which adds long-term value to neighborhoods. Beyond the projects, we support local jobs by hiring skilled tradespeople from our community, and we take pride in using sustainable practices and durable materials that reduce waste and extend the life of our work. Our goal is to leave behind more than beautiful home. We want to create spaces where families can thrive and communities can grow stronger together and build trust. For over 30 years, our family has built/worked on homes and built relationships on the foundation of reliability and transparency. We take pride in treating every project like it’s our own home. Our clients know they can count on us not only to deliver excellent results, but also to communicate clearly and stand behind our work.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets us apart is our mix of tradition and innovation. We’re a family-run business with over 30 years of experience, built on word of mouth and partnerships. Now, we’re excited to bring that same craftsmanship and reputation into a modern era . Meaning, expanding our services and presence online so more people can see the quality we stand for.It definitely hasn’t always been easy. Like many family businesses, we faced ups and downs, but what kept us going was our commitment to doing the job right and never cutting corners. We learned early on that clear communication and standing by our work are just as important as the build itself. Today, we’re most proud of the fact that we’re creating more than just ADUs, remodels, and outdoor living spaces. Our goal is to leave behind not only beautiful projects but lasting relationships. The biggest lesson we’ve learned along the way is that trust is everything. You can build a house with tools and materials, but you build a brand with integrity.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would say my favorite spots in the city are a handful of sushi restaurants. We have the best sushi in Los Angeles if you know the right spots. A few I would take them to are Kiwami by Katsuya, Takami on Wilshire, Teru Sushi, and a hidden gem in Encino Sushi Yotsuya by Chef Masa. If they are visiting from out of town and haven’t seen the typical tourist LA stops, then I’ll definitely be a tourist for the week. We would walk Hollywood Blvd, TCL Chinese Theatre, and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Also, we would have to go to Universal Studios and Disneyland no question. It may seem generic but why not. Any of the times I’ve been to these places we had a ball. For drinks, I prefer busier spots but that aren’t too hectic such as Laurel Tavern which is a great spot to just grab a drink and vibe.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Big shoutout to our friends over at NoHo Flooring! Every time we’ve teamed up, they’ve brought top-notch craftsmanship and an eye for detail that really elevates the finished project. It’s always a pleasure working alongside a crew that takes as much pride in their work as we do and we are looking forward to more great projects together!
