We had the good fortune of connecting with Matthew Clark and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Matthew, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
I find the relationship between work and personal time, as well as the blurred lines of integration between the two, are becoming more and more entwined. The key to navigating this is to set boundaries and know where to step up.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I own a production company called King Man Productions, as well as host a podcast called The Podcastle. It’s been a fun, adventurous journey these past ten years, and I was ready for the next step. I was elected as a Board Member to the Tarzana Neighborhood Council in May 2021, so I am now a public official, which is pretty cool.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For Los Angeles, you can never, ever go wrong with taking someone to Bar 1912 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. They always deliver a unique experience, and have the best staff in the world.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to give a shoutout to all of my friends and family that have helped me through the years.
