We had the good fortune of connecting with Megha Sarpal and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Megha, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
As a lover of all things beauty and as a licensed cosmetologist, I was passionate about starting a makeup line to cater to the needs of every skin type and skin tone. I believe beauty and makeup should not be compromised when one is searching for products for their skin.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started my makeup line MS Glamour as a brand who would deliver to all skin types and skin tones. I focused on creating a makeup line that was paraben-free, meaning it does not having harsh preservative which would harm the skin. Starting a business is not easy as one has much preparation and planning to do. Along the way, I’ve learned that patience and time management is key for any project that one wants to take over. I want the world to know that no matter how big or small, anything can be done with the right mindset.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to town, I would take her to Rodeo Drive, and we would shop around and grab a bite. Another one of my favorites would be to go to Shiraz, a Mediterranean restaurant.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The credit and recognition in my story should go to my parents. My mother and father taught me to pursue my dreams and to remain strong and determined throughout the process.
