We had the good fortune of connecting with Meria Heller and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Meria , if you had to put a million dollars to work immediately, how would you go about investing it?
If I had a million dollars to invest right now my life wouldn’t change. I would reinvest it in my radio show so that more people could access it and learn truth, both political and spiritual. I’ve never been a greedy person and am happy with what I have in my life and my life. Many of my shows are life saving. Right now I have to charge a subscription fee to pay the bills. With a million dollars I’d blow the site wide open.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I love counseling people. I put together my natural intuition, spiritual gifts and knowledge plus world knowledge and experience to give them useful information during a private session. I am not a “reader” that tells you what you WANT to hear but what you need to hear. I’ve had some of the same clients for decades now so I must be doing something right. As for my webcast, it’s been going for 20 years now. People said no one would ever pay for audio. I believed that people seeking truth in all areas of life would and have not had corporate sponsors this entire time. I am a free thinker and call things the way I see it and have done research/studying my entire life. That sets me apart from the other “podcasts” – integrity. There is only one truth, half truths are a lie.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them into the beautiful Arizona desert. From there we would go by Rio Verde and see the natural waters running through it. There are loads of great restaurants in Arizona so it would be hard to get a bad meal. As a vegan I would take them to Green, which is still the best vegan restaurant by far. For lunch I’d treat them to Loving Hut in Phoenix which is also an outstanding vegan restaurant. Every day of their trip I’d take them to see more of the fabulous natural beauty of Arizona. No two places are the same. I’d also toss in the Heard Museum for the flavor of the magnificent people that lived here before us.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are many people that have helped me along the way. Some great teachers, authors and speakers. The one person I owe everything to is my father. His love was always unconditional even though I was pretty unconventional. He taught me the value of integrity in everything I do. He taught me to question everything, especially authority. I think I’ve done him proud. When I met Sun Bear and learned his medicine wheel and the philosophy of it, it literally changed my entire life so I am forever grateful to him too.
