We had the good fortune of connecting with Michaiah Goodwin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michaiah, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Honestly I hate working for others it’s so miserable at times. So I was like “hmm what can I do to work for my self” lol, and I’ve already had a decent following so I was thinking “I have to do something”

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am an influencer and I also have my own clothing brand called “Pretty As Fvck”. I’ve started off working in the music industry at a very young age I was one of the first of many with a website blog on a celebrity. However as things switched I gained a huge following on instagram and decided to be an influencer and also start my own clothing brand. I think what sets me aside is accepting failure and literally never giving up. I will take breaks sometimes mental wise however I will always wake up and start over and get back on track. The challenges along the way with being an influencer is sometimes not feeling good enough and feeling like the social media world is fake and it’s actually a-lot of pressure. However those are the times that I take a small break from social media and just reflect.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
my friends would enjoy the small things like walks in the park, eating and talking about zodiac signs and aliens day. None or them actually like hanging out in public with people lol!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents and my brothers and my best friend “Yams” and also my partner Heff.
