We had the good fortune of connecting with Micheal Carraway and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Micheal, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
Im from a small town called Longview, Texas. As a kid Id always have a camcorder recording any, and everything. It’s something id never realize id be doing in the future, even looking back I remember making small self videos for Youtube all through school growing up. Its taught me I have the personality to be in front of a camera, as well as the self confidence to even talk and express my feelings through art, and storytelling.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I believe what sets me apart from others is that I like to work with people with a low confidence level, and I get to show them that they really can model. the satisfaction from making someone happy when I deliver them the art we’ve created keeps me going. I got to where I am today is all the friends, and word of mouth clients that love my images I create. id like the world to know I’m here to help them with their journey.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A perfect all around spot would definitely be LA. We’d start early to grab breakfast (there’s so many options), after breakfast there’s a spot I like to view all of the city called the Griffith Observatory for photos, and to walk off the breakfast calories. some of the best places to check out are the Hollywood sign, Chinatown, Downtown LA, And swan lake for some relaxing.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Id like to give appreciation to another photographer that has taught me so much, Mitch Lally. He’s an awesome photographer I discovered on YouTube, he goes super in depth on his photography style and his approach to his work. He inspired me.
