We had the good fortune of connecting with Michèle Tambika and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michèle, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I want people to realize how important it is to maintain a healthy lifestyle and become more aware of what you put in your body. The goal is to help people change some eating and lifestyle habits. It is so important because it can affect your health enormously.
A lot of people don’t have the time or motivation to cook a healthy, organic meal. That’s why my recipes are simple and shouldn’t take that much time. My book is meant to be the start to a healthier lifestyle. It includes recipes, nutrition, beauty, lifestyle and some thoughts & tips.
TAMBIKA is all about you. And we want you to feel good. What’s wrong with feeling good?
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Hi, I’m Michèle Tambika, the founder of ‘TAMBIKA’. I have a passion for cooking, healthy living, and it is important for me to have a good balance in life. I was born and raised in Switzerland and have been living in Los Angeles since 2018. California is where my heart is. I enjoy the beautiful weather, and the chill vibes! That’s why you’ll find me outdoors most of the time.
I came to Los Angeles to do my Bachelor’s degree in Acting for Film and to start my modeling & singing career. I was always fascinated by people with special abilities. I knew I was talented and creative so I decided to be brave and dare something. I’ve experienced a lot of ups and downs in Los Angeles but I believe with the right mentality you will achieve more than you ever thought you will. Just keep going and never give up. See everything as a life lesson and part of your story and growing process. Never stop believing in yourself, stay focused and ambitious.
My biggest strength is my intuition. I turned down some opportunities because something just didn’t feel right about it. There’s always a reason why your intuition says NO so never betray yourself no matter how much money you would get for it or how big the opportunity would be. The key is to trust yourself.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love food and good restaurants so I would for sure take a visiting friend to
– Urth Caffe
– EP & LP
– Castaway Burbank
I would also plan a trip to the beach
– Laguna Beach
– Santa Monica Pier
– Hermosa Beach Pier
Or a nice hike
– Runyon Canyon
– Hollywood Sign Hike
I might take my friend to
– The Walk of Fame
– Universal City Walk
– Six Flags
Oh and I would for sure take my friend to lake Balboa. It’s so peaceful and beautiful there.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my mom. She always cooked fresh & healthy and explained me a lot about nutrition and its importance. Without her I probably wouldn’t pay that much attention to what I put in my body and the way I live my life. She made me stay humble, appreciate the little things in life and have a strong mentality. I love and appreciate her so much.
Thank you for raising me so good and with so much love.
