We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Nouraei and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michelle, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
One thing about the fitness industry, especially when it comes to prenatal and postnatal programs like Fit4Mom, that outsiders might not be aware of is how deeply it’s rooted in community and emotional support, not just physical fitness. It’s not just about workouts; it’s about creating a safe space where moms can connect, share their experiences, and build lasting friendships while also taking care of their health. It’s about the whole journey of motherhood, and that’s something truly special.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Fitness and health have always been at the core of who I am. My journey began as a nurse, where I had the privilege of caring for people in some of their most vulnerable moments. But my passion for health extended beyond just caring for others—I wanted to empower people to take control of their own well-being. This led me to work as a personal trainer, exploring everything from CrossFit to bodybuilding competitions and even Kettlebell sport. Each discipline taught me something new about strength, resilience, and the power of community.
One of the most rewarding chapters in my career was using my background as a nurse to help individuals with type 2 diabetes transition off medication safely by using food as medicine. It was about more than just exercise; it was about holistic health and giving people the tools to transform their lives.
Taking ownership of Fit4Mom LA is an exciting new chapter for me. It’s a chance to merge all of my passions into one space where I can continue to build a community that supports and uplifts mothers. It hasn’t always been easy—starting anything new comes with its set of challenges—but I’ve learned that persistence, passion, and a strong support system can get you through anything. I’m proud to be part of a brand that champions the strength of moms and creates a supportive environment where they can thrive, not just as mothers, but as individuals.
What I want the world to know about my journey is that it’s never too late to start a new chapter. Whether it’s changing careers, taking on a new challenge, or setting a new goal, every step forward is progress. And at Fit4Mom LA, we’re here to support every mom on her journey to strength and wellness, at every stage of motherhood.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d grab my best friend, and we’d hit the road for an epic road trip up the California coast. We’d explore different hiking trails, taking in the stunning views and fresh air along the way. Each town we pass through would be an opportunity to try out the local cuisine—I’m always on the lookout for small, family-owned spots where the food is authentic and packed with unique flavors. And of course, no trip would be complete without checking out the nightlife in the bigger cities, finding the best spots for some great music and dancing the night away. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and fun!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d love to dedicate my shoutout to the previous owner of Fit4Mom LA. She laid the foundation for this incredible community and has been such a huge support and mentor to me throughout this transition of ownership. Her dedication and passion for helping moms connect and thrive have truly inspired me, and I’m honored to continue building on what she started.
