We had the good fortune of connecting with Mika Ovcharova and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mika, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have to admit that I was lucky. When my husband and I decided to move to the United States, I left all my previous life behind. So I had the privilege to choose between continuing my career in the corporate world here or pursuing my dream. Even though I’ve always loved interior design, I never had formal training in it, which held me back. But one day I met Natalia, who was an interior designer in Ukraine. While chatting on the beach, we realized we could combine my marketing skills with her design expertise to offer home staging services as part of real estate marketing. I’m really excited about this because I believe it can help people see the beauty not only on open house days but also motivate them to create a warm and cozy atmosphere and enjoy their own homes.

Sure! Our business focuses on providing high-quality home staging services that cater to the unique needs of our clients. What sets us apart from others is our commitment to exceptional customer service and attention to detail. We take pride in exceeding our clients’ expectations and delivering results that speak for themselves.

Getting to where we are today in business has been a journey filled with challenges. We have worked on ourselves and changed our mindset along the way. We’ve learned valuable lessons about the importance of partnership, feedback, and staying true to our values. We’ve discovered that success is not just about reaching a destination but about the journey and the relationships we build along the way.

What we want the world to know about our brand is that we are more than just a business – we are a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact in our industry and community. We believe in going above and beyond for our clients and making a difference in their lives.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Our family favorite restaurant Casa Nostra Ristorante Westlake Village. We love the atmosphere, service, and food. Oh, it is so good! I recommend it to everyone who loves Italian cuisine.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes, absolutely. I have so many people around me who have inspired or motivated me on my journey. This includes my family, my partner’s family, our friends and our clients.
