Meet Mike Sully Fitness | Celebrity Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mike Sully Fitness and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mike, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success, and the success of Fatboyslim Fitness, is simple: I care more than anyone expects me to. I care about the people I work with. I care about how they feel when they look in the mirror. I care about their mindset, their habits, their wins, and especially their setbacks. That level of care is what built this brand, and it’s what keeps it growing.
My story didn’t start in a gym. It started on a couch, hungover, overweight, and miserable. I was 19 years old, around 205 lbs, living off takeaways and drinking too much. My confidence was non-existent. I hated my body, but more than that, I hated how I felt inside. I didn’t know who I was anymore. I wasn’t active. I wasn’t healthy. I was just drifting, numbing myself, stuck in a loop of self-sabotage.
But I hit a point where I couldn’t take it anymore. And I didn’t have some big revelation or fancy gym plan. I just put my trainers on and went for a walk. That was my turning point. One walk turned into a jog. One jog turned into a workout. I didn’t overhaul my life overnight, I built myself brick by brick, through uncomfortable, unglamorous consistency. I failed a hundred times. But I never gave up.
Fast forward a few years, after staying consistent, transforming my own life, and sharing my journey online, I got a message that completely changed everything. Anthony Lolli, a massively successful real estate mogul from New York, reached out to me. He wanted real structure, accountability, and someone who had actually lived the journey, not just studied it.
So I packed my bags and moved to America. Not for a few weeks. Not for a quick program. I moved in with him.
We trained every day. I coached him through everything, his meals, his mindset, his routine, his self-discipline. I was there for every rep, every early morning, every mental battle. He was running multiple businesses, managing a full family life, and still giving 100% to this process. And together, we didn’t just aim for a transformation—, we documented it.
That’s how the documentary Fat Lolli to Six Pack Lolli was born. We filmed the entire journey together and released it on Amazon Prime. No scripts. No filters. Just raw, honest footage of what it really takes to turn your life around, physically and mentally. It wasn’t about perfection. It was about showing the world what’s possible when you fully commit and refuse to make excuses.
That experience changed my life too. Coaching someone like Anthony, living with him, seeing firsthand what pressure looks like at that level, and helping him still make fitness a priority was a massive moment for me. It proved that my methods don’t just work for beginners, they work for CEOs, parents, busy people, anyone who’s ready to be coached properly and push beyond their limits.
And that documentary? It wasn’t the end, it was just the beginning of a new level.
But here’s the thing most people don’t realise: that documentary wasn’t the finish line. It was just another step. Because real success didn’t come from losing weight. It came from helping other people do the same.
Fatboyslim Fitness was born out of that mission. And it’s not just about weight loss. It’s about transforming the relationship people have with themselves. I’m not here to make you skinny, I’m here to help you take back control of your life. I’m here to show you that you’re stronger than your excuses. That you don’t have to keep starting over. That you can do hard things, even when it feels impossible.
What really sets this brand apart, and what I’m most proud of is the connection I have with my clients. I don’t treat them like numbers. I treat them like family. I know when someone’s kid is sick. I know when they’ve had a sh*t day at work. I know their stories, their fears, their triggers. I don’t just give out macros and workout plans, I coach humans. I support them through real-life ups and downs.
And they trust me, not just because I’ve done it myself, but because they know I see them. I listen. I push when they need it. I back off when they’re struggling. I’m in their corner, fully.
So if you’re asking what’s behind the success of Fatboyslim Fitness? It’s not branding. It’s not luck. It’s not viral content.
It’s:
• Walking in the rain when I didn’t want to.
• Learning about nutrition when I didn’t have a clue.
• Picking myself up when I’d failed again.
• Showing up for my clients like no one showed up for me.
It’s consistency, care, and connection. That’s the real answer. And I’ll never stop doing it.
Because I remember exactly what it felt like to feel stuck, ashamed, and invisible. And now, I get to help people break out of that every single day.
That’s success to me.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart is that I’ve lived it.
I was overweight, unhappy, and had no confidence. I know what it’s like to feel stuck. That’s why I connect so deeply with my clients, I’ve been where they are.
I don’t just give plans and disappear. I’m involved. I care. I coach real people through real life, and I show up for them fully. That’s how I built trust, and that’s how I built Fatboyslim Fitness, from one transformation to thousands.
I’ve worked with everyday people and high performers, including a full-body transformation that became a documentary on Amazon Prime. But no matter who I work with, my goal is always the same: help them take back control of their health and mindset.
At the end of the day, it’s not about abs or views, it’s about changing lives. That’s what I do. That’s what I love.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting Dubai, I’d show them a mix of the best gyms, good food, beach clubs, and local fun. We’d train hard at gyms like Binous1. The facilities are top-notch. After training, I’d take them to spots like Bageri Form or Comptoir 102 for healthy breakfasts or smoothies.
For beach time, I’d bring them to popular beach clubs like Nikki Beach, Zero Gravity, or Cove Beach. These are great places to relax, swim, and enjoy good music and food by the water. JBR and La Mer are also solid for a more casual beach vibe.
We’d definitely fit in a desert safari with dune bashing and camel rides for the classic Dubai experience. For nights out, Soho Garden or WHITE Dubai have the right energy, but we’d balance that with chill evenings in Old Dubai, exploring the souks and cafes like Arabian Tea House.
A day at Aquaventure Waterpark or a trip to Hatta for hiking or kayaking would be great. And, of course, a visit to Burj Khalifa’s lounge at sunset to finish the trip in style.
It’s all about mixing fitness, great food, beach clubs, and both the modern and traditional sides of Dubai, making for a real and fun week.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a huge shoutout to everyone who’s been part of this journey, my family and especially my clients. Without their trust and dedication, none of this would be possible.
My family believed in me when I was at my lowest and gave me the support I needed to keep going. But it’s really the people I’ve coached who keep me motivated every day. Their wins, struggles, and stories push me to be better and do more.
Finally, I have to thank myself for never giving up, even when things got tough. It’s the combination of all these people and moments that built Fatboyslim Fitness into what it is today.
