Hi Miki, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?

The decision to start my own business, Kiss Hypnotherapy, stems from a culmination of personal experiences, professional expertise, a very unique and mixed background, and a profound belief in the transformative powers of hypnosis and hypnotherapy.

As a seasoned hypnotherapist, I specialize in guiding individuals towards personal improvement goals and fulfillment. I recognized the immense potential to make a difference on a larger scale. My journey into hypnotherapy was deeply rooted in my own quest for self-discovery and overcoming personal struggles, which ultimately led me to uncover the profound impact of hypnosis, imagery, and mindfulness.

Drawing from my diverse background in the entertainment industry and a life shaped by cultural immersion and many invaluable experiences, I understood the importance of offering a unique approach to mental well-being that resonated with individuals from all walks of life. My upbringing as an adopted child and the loss of my parents at a young age instilled in me a deep sense of empathy and understanding; driving my passion to help others navigate life’s challenges and discover their true potential.

Despite facing obstacles such as financial constraints and interrupted university studies, I embraced experiential learning and found my calling. The pivotal moment came during a hypnosis class exercise, where I witnessed firsthand the profound impact it had on empowering individuals. This revelation fueled my determination to master hypnotherapy techniques and share its benefits with as many people as possible.

So, Kiss Hypnotherapy was born! With a mission to guide individuals towards profound mental well-being and unbridled joy. Through my business, I am committed to providing personalized guidance and support, helping clients embark on a journey towards realizing their fullest potential and living a life of purpose and fulfillment. Kiss Hypnotherapy is not just a business; it’s a culmination of personal passion, professional expertise, and a deep commitment to helping individuals achieve profound mental well-being and fulfillment. What sets us apart is our genuine approach to hypnotherapy, integrating proven techniques such as hypnosis, imagery, and mindfulness to address the unique needs and goals of each client.

I’m incredibly proud of my journey (which is still ongoing!) that has led me to establish Kiss Hypnotherapy and the impact it has had on the lives of countless individuals.

What excites me the most is witnessing the transformative power firsthand as clients break free from limitations, tap into their inner resources, and realizing their fullest potential. And sometimes even more!

Getting to where I am today in my business hasn’t been easy. Like any entrepreneurial venture, I face numerous challenges along the way, from financial constraints to navigating the competitive landscape of the wellness industry. However; through resilience, perseverance, and a unwavering belief in what I am studying and the value of my work; I overcame these obstacles.

What I want the world to know about Kiss Hypnotherapy is that it’s more than just a service; it’s a beacon of hope and a light of empowerment for those seeking positive change in their lives. Our approach is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and a genuine desire to help others thrive.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

This is easy! I’d start by taking them on a breathtaking journey through Death Valley.
We’d embark on a scenic drive, marveling at the otherworldly landscapes and stunning vistas along the way. As we traverse the desolate yet captivating terrain, we’d soak in the beauty of the vast salt flats, towering sand dunes, and rugged mountains that define this iconic national park.

After visiting the surreal beauty of Death Valley, we’d make our way to Mammoth Mountain amidst the Sierra Nevada range.

We’d visit picturesque spots like Convict Lake, June Lake, and Twin Lakes, where we could hike, kayak, or simply relax and take in the serene beauty of our surroundings. The week would fly by with nature and camping in some of the most beautiful places you could imagine.

On the way back; we’d go visit Marlon Brando and bring some flowers back to Death Valley, then stop at the BEST burger place in the world; Mt. Whitney Burgers. Thank me later.

Absolutely! I want to give a heartfelt shoutout to my sister, Daria Artem JD., Founder and CEO of Lady Fortunes Cookie Company, and her amazing family—her supportive husband Yasser, and their wonderful children Nina and Ayden. I also want to mention Papa Alexander. Daria’s constant support, guidance, and belief in me have been key to my journey in establishing Kiss Hypnotherapy. Her family’s encouragement and love have provided a solid foundation and a constant source of inspiration throughout this venture.

I’d also like to thank my parents, Adrienne and Tony, who raised me from the age of six and had me brought me to the United States, opening doors to countless opportunities through travel and education.

Additionally, Laura Mayer deserves special recognition for her mentorship, wisdom, and friendship. She has been a guide, giving me the confidence and determination to seize opportunities. Her insights have had a profound impact on my growth as both an entrepreneur and a hypnotherapist.
