We had the good fortune of connecting with Misha Bogomolov and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Misha, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
“One who doesn’t Risk, doesn’t drink Champagne” . An old Russian saying that any post-soviet child has heard at least a thousand times growing up. To me it became almost a life motto and very much explains the things I do, and how I do them. It refers to the fact that to achieve something great, you will have to take a risk at some point while the Champagne drinking refers to celebrating that great success.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
When I was just getting into music, and specifically guitar and the Blues, i was introduced to it as a method of self expression, communication and story telling and thus the songs I would write even to this day, are stories and interpretations of my life events. Having acquired videography skills I then continued to further paint the picture and story with conceptual music videos and now short films the first of which is now coming out as a collaboration with Lina Cooper and another short film, currently in the works and scheduled to appear in 2022. I cant really say what i am most proud about or if it was hard to get where I was now simply because I don’t think about those aspects of my journey so much. To me it always more so being excited about the next step and the art I create along the way.
One of the most valuable lessons Ive learned along the way is that we don’t really get to choose to be a leader or follower, in a lot of cases we are both. But there are some of us that are inspired by their ideas so much that they end up inspiring others… and when that happens, a Huge Burden of responsibility weighs upon their shoulders.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The bucket list is as follows; – Definitely Point Dume in Malibu, one of the mot beautiful beaches Ive ever been to and also a fun Hike.
– We definitely stop by for an animal style lunch
– Griffith Obsrervatory ( I mean common.. why not 😉
– Santa Monica (Muscle beach, the acrobatic rings, most fun way to work out 200%)
– Venice Beach Skate park
– Midnight Drive Down Mullholand drive
– BCD tofu house at Night
